Commissioning - in Wolverhampton
Commissioning is important for organisations who wish to be considered to deliver public services in Wolverhampton.
Over the last year the sector has worked with the Local Strategic Partnership to agree a new commissioning framework for Wolverhampton. The framework has now received final approval by The Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) so that it can be implemented.
The commissioning framework sets out the procedures the City will use to select organisations to run its services. Organisations that are commissioned to run one or more of these services or hold contracts are referred to as public service providers or as providing public services.
