Drug Service Involvement
The Service User Involvement Team (SUIT) was set up in February 2007 in order to give the users of Wolverhampton Drug Services a voice in the way that services are provided.
A service user is anyone who currently, or within the last 6 months, has accessed Wolverhampton Drug Services i.e., addiction services at Horizon House, YMCA Bridge, Shared Care with their own GP etc.
Our aim is to equip Service Users with the skills they need to ensure they have the Best Drug Treatment Services available. WVSC is commissioned to deliver this service and employs a full time Service User Involvement Officer (on behalf of Wolverhampton Drugs Services), a part time project administrator and a part time Project Worker.
SUIT currently has a team of 10 volunteers who co-ordinate the various projects with the support of the User Involvement Officer, Project Administrator and Project Worker.
SUIT also have their own website:-
