Organisational Structures of Not for Profit Groups

Working out which type of organisation you want to be
The aim of the workshop is to give you confidence in deciding on the type of organisation you should become and an awareness of what is required for your chosen structure. Guidance will be given on how to complete the relevant applications.
This practical short course will provide participants with:-
- Increased knowledge of legal structures for a variety of organisations
- Knowledge of what are appropriate structures for not-for-personal-profit groups
- An understanding of benefits and disadvantages of those structures
- An understanding of why, when and how those structures should be put in place
- Knowledge about when a Company should be a Charity and when a Charity should be a Company
