Our Local Strategic Partnership

WVSC is part of the Wolverhampton Local Strategic Partnership. This is a forum for key local organisations to agree the priorities for the city. Promoting positive partnership working between the local voluntary and community sector and statutory organisations is a crucial role undertaken by WVSC.

Recent feedback from our groups demonstrated that they perceive an increase in the value and importance placed on the voluntary and community sector:

• 89% reported an increase in the level of partnership working
• 44% felt supported by statutory sector partners
• 36% felt able to influence initiatives, strategies and policies
