Supporting You to Setup and Run Self Support Group

Many people feel that meeting with others who have had similar experiences supports their emotional and mental well-being.

Led by the Self Support Co-ordinator, to support Experts by Experience in the development of a variety of user led groups i.e. Mental Health Action Groups, Drop-ins, Self Support Groups and Peer Advocacy Groups. 

The support offered varies from: helping a group to find a venue; funding advice; developing publicity; opening a bank account; developing a constitution and group policies and day to day support and advice.
