Following recent office moves within the City of Wolverhampton Council this has created a supply of good quality office furniture in good condition which the Council are making available to Voluntary and Community Organisations in the city.  The equipment is being donated free but a voluntary small donation would be accepted towards the cost of the furniture where applicable – you will need to provide your own transport.

The office furniture available includes:

  • Desks – various sizes
  • Pedestals – to go next to or under desks, with drawers
  • Cupboards
  • Filing cabinets

Equipment can be collected (you will need to provide your own transport) between Monday 26th November and Friday 7th December and will be allocated on a first come first served basis from;

  • Priory Green Centre, Whitburn Close, Pendeford, Wolverhampton, WV9 5NJ

So, if you are from a voluntary or community organisation in Wolverhampton and are interested in any of this furniture, please contact Wayne Palmer (Safeguarding Administrative Manager) by Monday 3rd December at the latest by email Wayne.Palmer@wolverhampton.gov.uk or Telephone 01902 553044

When you contact Wayne, please let him know;

(a) what items of furniture you are interested in and how many of each

(b) when you can collect them

If you are interested but may struggle to get transport, it is still worth expressing an interest in case any arrangements can be made to share costs (£10 upwards depending on the number and size of items wanted) between a number of groups for delivery.

Not all cupboards, filing cabinets will have the original keys but these can be bought from Cummings Brothers in Chapel Ash.
