Cross-Sector Forum:
Collaborating and co-designing the future of the Voluntary and Community Sector

Do you volunteer or work in the voluntary and community sector in Wolverhampton?

Do you want to feel better connected to other voluntary organisations, the City Council and our communities?

Would you like to be involved in designing how the voluntary sector is supported in our city moving forwards?

If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, please join us for one of the informal workshops listed below and overleaf.

The Cross-Sector Forum recognises that COVID-19 has been a challenging time, but also an opportunity where fantastic work has been delivered in the voluntary and community sector. As we begin to move beyond the pandemic, the Cross-Sector Forum would like to invite you to come along and share your ideas for the future of the sector in Wolverhampton.

Join the Cross-Sector Forum and other voluntary sector organisations across the city to reflect on the past couple of years, outcomes from the consultation and opportunities for building the future together. Now more than ever we want to work together to coproduce how we support the sector going forward.

There are 5 identical workshop sessions to choose from on various dates and locations to suit your busy schedules. Light refreshments and a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere will be included at every session:

More information

In 2021, the Cross Sector Forum commissioned the University of Wolverhampton to complete a consultation exercise to establish a baseline of the Voluntary and Community sector to inform future priorities. The consultation included: informing the priorities of the sector, commissioning approaches, how they will respond to future demands in the City, identifying inequality and remedies to address it, what the sector needs to achieve, identifying risks and challenges and how they envisage the future.

The workshops will be facilitated by Ideas Alliance, a social enterprise working to improve partnerships between public services and communities, so that better decisions are made, and better outcomes are achieved. To find out more about Ideas Alliance, please visit: ideas-alliance.org.uk
