Here’s a round up of funding opportunities we’ve shared via our newsletter and on social media in November.
- Heart of England Community Foundation – Winter Wellbeing Fund grants of up to £10K to support orgs providing holistic support for the wellbeing & changing economic circumstances of the community due to the impact of C19.
- Trusthouse Charitable Foundation – Grants available to smaller charitable & NFP orgs to fund community & family support projects in areas of extreme urban deprivation.
- Asda Foundation – Feeding Communities Grants are available for local orgs to help provide meals to anyone in need in the lead up to Christmas.
- Power To Change – Community Business ReBoost fund aims to support community businesses to raise community shares capital that can support their recovery, pivot or expand the business in response to C19. The ReBoost fund provides grant funding and matched equity investment.
- ESF Community Grants awards funding of up to £20,000 are available to organisations which can run projects that support people unemployed (for six months minimum) back into work/ training.
- Finnis Scott Foundation is focussing on grant-making in the areas of horticulture and plant sciences, as well as art history and the enhancement, conservation and preservation of art.
- Grants of up to £10,000 are available from the Ministry of Defence to help mark Armed Forces Day on Saturday, 26 June 2021. Ex-service organisations, local councils, schools and organisations may apply.
- Creative Commissions for Disabled Artists Launched by Arts Council with BBC Arts to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Disability Discrimination Act.
- Black Social Entrepreneurs Futures Programme – aimed at Black social entrepreneurs based in the West Midlands, who want to increase their impact and trading income.
- Peter Sowerby Foundation £1.4 million Increasing Access Fund – aims to ensure or increase access to key services and activities for beneficiaries who have struggled with this due to the pandemic.
- Homelessness Winter Transformation Fund – organisations can now apply for transformation funding to provide single room and COVID-19 secure accommodation for people experiencing homelessness this winter.
- Funding is now available from NHS Blood and Transplant to engage BAME communities in organ & blood donation.
- Heart of England – Positive Futures Fund is intended for local projects involving disadvantaged young people in Birmingham and the Black Country.
- Comic Relief have launched a new £2.1 million Global Majority Fund to assist with Covid-19 response work within communities experiencing racial inequality
- The Co-op has donated £1.5 to the National Emergencies Trust which will be used to support local charities and community organisations that are working to tackle food poverty in communities across the UK.
- Friends of the Elderly Grants – small grants of up to £500 are available to support vulnerable older people living on low incomes.
- Help the Homeless – grants of up to £5Khelp homeless people return to the community and enabling them to resume a normal life.
- MOBO Help Musicians Fund – created to support the career ambitions of exceptionally talented artists and groups with grants of up to £3K.
- Paul Hamlyn Foundation – Arts-Based Learning Fund for arts orgs working with schools, colleges & other formal education settings to enhance the lives, development and achievements of children & young people.
- Weaver’s Company Benevolent Fund – grants of up to £15K for projects working with Young offenders, Prisoners and ex-prisoners, Young disadvantaged people at risk of criminal involvement
- The UK Youth Fund – Covid Relief has been created to support youth organisations who have not had access to the crisis funding they require to survive the Covid pandemic.
