Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council is recruiting as part of its nationally recognised Social Prescribing Service in Wolverhampton.

WVSC is committed to safeguarding children, and adults with care and support needs and has in place fully implemented and regularly reviewed policies and procedures on Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults with Care and Support Needs. These incorporate safer recruitment processes endorsed by the Safer Recruitment Consortium and Wolverhampton Safeguarding Together partnership which are used in all recruitment and selection.
Successful applicants will be expected to undertake a DBS check at the appropriate level, or provide a DBS certificate at the appropriate level and for the same workforce if currently registered with the DBS Update Service.
Link Worker – Full time
Working closely with Primary Care Networks to support people who are lonely, isolated and / or facing depression and anxiety you will have:
- A clear understanding of the Voluntary and Community Sector
- A sound knowledge of the health and social care environment
- An interest in supporting individuals to improve their health and wellbeing
- The ability to work within a complex environment
