Recovery College comes to Wolverhampton

The Recovery College enables people with mental health challenges to have the same opportunities in life as everyone else. We endeavour to support people on their personal journey towards a meaningful and satisfying life, where hope, opportunity and choice are the key elements.

We are launching our service in Wolverhampton on World Mental Health Day, Thursday,10th October in the Mander Centre. We would love to meet you, so please pop into the Mander Centre and visit our stall along with a range of other partners.

We will also be holding two drop-in open days on Friday, 11th and Monday, 14th October in the Training Room, WVSC, 16 Temple Street, Wolverhampton WV2 4AN from 11am – 3pm. You can come and meet some of the team, find out more about us and let us know what you would like to see on our curriculum in Wolverhampton.

The college aims to help people to become experts in their own self-care, and enable family, friends, carers and staff to better understand mental health. Courses are co-produced with users, carers and professionals working in partnership.
