About the Emergencies Partnership
The Voluntary and Community Sector Emergencies Partnership is a partnership of local and national voluntary and community sector organisations. It was formed in response to learnings from several 2017 national crises, including Grenfell Tower fire.
Our vision
“The Emergencies Partnership brings together local and national organisations to deliver a more coordinated response to emergencies. Where needed, we bring the right support, to the right people at the right time.”
Current response
Now, we are responding to the evolving Covid-19 crisis. Longer-term, our goal is to establish a framework of response for future local or national emergencies. We want to add value for the most vulnerable communities, and the eco-system of national and local voluntary and community sector organisations supporting them.
